Thanks to all of you who have followed Dead Shuffle, and been on board from the beginning! We're growing, and have more subscribers than I would have ever hoped for on a project that started as a humble fiction blog. I owe all of you a big thanks, and some recognition.
As far as recognition goes, send your picture to deadshuffle@bonthegeek.com and I'll take the best, zombie up the faces, and include you in the Dead Shuffle Fan Gallery. Knock yourself out, get creative with settings or just crop a face shot, it's up to you. Each week I will include the favorite picture.
Also, you may have noticed the posts are coming slowly. They are scheduled for Monday and Thursdays at 8 PM Central Time, but the current server is reaching people at different times. I apologize for that, please bear with me while I check out alternate services and ways to improve delivery. If you want to be the first to see posts come out, now you know when to visit the blog site and check for updates!
One last piece of business: this schedule is only temporary, which is a good thing. All hell is about to break loose, and things are going to move faster. In March, Dead Shuffle will move to three releases per week, with more content in each post. The characters and story will start to come together, and I will pick up the pace. The one thing all readers have asked for is for there to be more to read. Consider it done, I will take February and prepare to double the weekly output.
I will keep them few and far between, but keep an eye out for letters from me that will keep readers in the loop and announce changes and contests.
